Artist's Comments

Another sketch of GIR for the same as-of-yet-nonexistant fic as the Clown GIR. This one was somewhat inspired by Mindless Self Indulgence's "Bring the Pineapple", the name of which is written under the drawing, but I cut it off here. (Pineapples are pretty weird lookin', huh? I didn't exactly know how to draw the skin, so I just drew X'es.)

The drawing is actually on the back of an old study guide. This was how I studied for my psychology midterm.

I got an A.

I hate GIR, now! 8D

No, I don't hate this picture. But come on, man. COME ON. The people's obsession with this character has made me damn sick of him. He's not that great, really. Sure, he was kinda funny; I was never "obsessed" with him, but he was fun to draw. But he's overrated, guys.

I don't want anyone using this without my permission, by the way. Actually, I'd prefer if people don't use this on other websites or as avatars, even if they link back here. I greatly appreciate any reports of thievery, though.

Oh yeah, and fuck doom.

That is like... My last 5 weeks of school piled into a sketch. On the back of a studyguide? I thought I was the only one who used those kind of resources. =P

Hell, I've got drawings all over my school stuff, lined papers, homework... I was able to edit out all of the spots and lines and words from the other side of this paper, and it looks so much cleaner here. I actually wrote my Artist's Comments on the side of that same page. On the top I wrote: "Invader Zim Is Ribbed For Dib's Pleasure." Then it says, "Clinical psychologist input to left visual cortex REM (what happens) Myelin sheath" and so on. It's a mess.

Actually, he's claiming it as his own. (GIR is saying it's HIS fucking pineapple, goddammit!) I had the idea that he was playing some sort of Capture the Flag type of game with it. But I'd like to see him chuck it... now, who should it hit...? (shifty-eyed)
